Wimborne Girls - Trans at the Minster A group of trans girls meeting for chat and a drink in a relaxed and friendly environment. Formed in July 2016, we meet on the 2nd Tuesday (19.30hrs onwards) each month at the White Hart in the centre of Wimborne Minster. At the pub great food is available and free parking (after 18.00hrs) is situated in the public car park on King Street. Entrance is usually through the garden gate into the pub from the smaller, lower section of the car park. Members living in the Salisbury, Lymington and Dorchester areas are regular attendees as well as those living more locally. Contact Tasmin on cd@qtee.biz if further information required.

A circular walk of about 7 1/2 miles, with a steepish climb up Hambledon Hill rewarded with wonderful views northwards, as well as a magnificent perspective of this ancient hill fort. Otherwise, the walk is fairly flat. Full details...

Sunday 29th Gay OutDoor Club GOC Walk Broadmayne/White Hourse Hill/Osmington/Poxwell. A circular walk of some 7 miles involving 3 moderate climbs. From our starting point we climb up to White Horse Hill, where there are splendid views of the Isle of Portland and Weymouth Bay. The White Horse, which represents George III riding away from Weymouth, is visible on our descent to Osmington, where a lunch stop will be taken. After lunch, we climb out of Osmington and proceed to Poxwell (pronounced Pokeswell) then up and over back to Broadmayne. Full details...

Sunday 19th Gay Outdoor Club (GOC) Walk - Hengistbury Head / Mudeford / Christchurch
A circular walk of about 6 1/2 miles over mainly flat terrain. From out starting point, we'll walk through Wick Meadows then over to the coast, following it all the way over Hengistbury Head to Mudeford Spit and take the passenger ferry across to Mudeford, £1.50 per person. There is an outside chance we may not all get on one ferry, but they shuttle back and forth about once every 12 minutes. And lunch stop is immediately the other side, where there are benches for picnickers, the Haven Café and Haven House Inn, which doesn't take phone bookings for lunch - it's first come first served. We'll return via Stanpit Marsh and the centre of Christchurch. Full details...

Tuesday 10th Wimborne Girls - Trans at the Minster A group of trans girls meeting for chat and a drink in a relaxed and friendly environment. Meeting on the 2nd Tuesday (19.30hrs onwards) each month at the White Hart in the centre of Wimborne Minster. At the pub great food is available and free parking (after 18.00hrs) is situated in the public car park on King Street. Entrance is usually through the garden gate into the pub from the smaller, lower section of the car park. Sunday 29th Gay OutDoor Club GOC Walk Broadmayne/White Hourse Hill/Osmington/Poxwell. A circular walk of some 7 miles involving 3 moderate climbs. From our starting point we climb up to White Horse Hill, where there are splendid views of the Isle of Portland and Weymouth Bay. The White Horse, which represents George III riding away from Weymouth, is visible on our descent to Osmington, where a lunch stop will be taken. Sunday 19th Gay Outdoor Club (GOC) Walk - Hengistbury Head / Mudeford / Christchurch
A circular walk of about 6 1/2 miles over mainly flat terrain. From out starting point, we'll walk through Wick Meadows then over to the coast, following it all the way over Hengistbury Head to Mudeford Spit and take the passenger ferry across to Mudeford, £1.50 per person. There is an outside chance we may not all get on one ferry, but they shuttle back and forth about once every 12 minutes. And lunch stop is immediately the other side, where there are benches for picnickers, the Haven Café and Haven House Inn, which doesn't take phone bookings for lunch - it's first come first served. We'll return via Stanpit Marsh and the centre of Christchurch. Full details...
