Ru Paul Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz at Closet in Weymouth. Baga Chipz is bringing a night of drag fun to The Closet Bar and Nightclub in Maiden Street, Weymouth town centre, on Saturday, December 2. Baga is known for competing on the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019 and later the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs the World. |

Weymouth Gay Group (WGG) is pleased to be associated with The Closet Bar over the last ten years.
Noteable events have been Weymouth Carnival (photo left) many years ago (2015) when The Closet had a float with the huge rainbow flag trailing behind. Several of our WGG guys helped to carry it along the seafront.
Weymouth & Portland Pride would not have been possible in 2019 without the support of The Closet Bar. Organised by Jamie (Owner / manager Closet Bar) and a committee which included one of our WGG guys. The Pride event was Weymouth's first. So its Happy 10th Birthday to The Closet Bar, and here's to the next decade of The Closet Bar providing a safe and welcoming venue not only for our community, but all in and visiting Weymouth.
