Craft with Pride is an event bringing crafters together with the Pride community
The New Weymouth Pride - “Craft with Pride” is presently seeking interest and support. Taking place at Weymouth Rugby Club on Saturday 15th June 2024, the event will showcase a range of rainbow crafts (see poster) and will have a variety of other attractions too. Lynn, the organiser said “We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Weymouth Pride 2024“ She added:- “At this stage we are looking for people interested in having a stall, and also sponsors”. Weymouth Gay Group (WGG) are very pleased to see another New Pride event in our area and wonder with the Pub Prides end of May (three in Dorset 2023), two Youth Prides (Dorchester & Weymouth 2023), and Bournemouth’s BourneFree, if we might be on course to break the 2023 record of SIX Dorset Pride events in a year. Let’s hope so! One of our WGG guys asked if they will have Craft beers there? LOL! |

Note - Please note another website has said this is NOT a PRIDE event! Having checked back with Lynn (organiser on 11/09/2023) she says it IS both a "Craft and LGBT Pride event". Brovo!
If you like Pride events, why not volunteer to help out at one? They can't run with out lots of help and support from our community, and it can be loads of fun helping out too! Pride - a protest or celebration? What are your views?
